We have dealt with matters related to shipbuilding and bills of sale, registration and flagging, national flag waivers, lien and mortgage registration, requests of maritime and river transport lines, etc.

In the ports and logistics sector, we provide legal counsel and representation services for our clients acting on their behalf to get the necessary authorizations and permits, issued by ports and customs authorities. It is noted the obtention of permits for corporate customs warehouses for the development of logistics projects, since Uruguay has one of the most important and modern container terminal in this region.

We also deal with labor issues in maritime, logistics and ports sector, both for individual contracts and collective bargaining. Our staff members are frequently appointed as delegates at the Centro de Navegación (Shipping Agents Association of Uruguay) for collective bargaining of this sector.
