In his professional activity, he combines both legal consultancy in corporate matters and litigation practice. He assisted national and foreign companies providing comprehensive advice in the development of engineering and energy projects carried out in Uruguay, Spain, France, Turkey, Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina. He has an extensive experience in negotiations of projects-related contracts representing end users, EPC contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. He represented national and foreign companies in public competitive biddings for infrastructure projects promoted by the National Electricity Company (UTE), the National Oil and Fuels Company (ANCAP), the National Administration of Ports (ANP), the National Water Company (OSE), the City of Montevideo (IMM), the Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP) and the National Corporation for the Development (CND). He represents clients in civil and commercial disputes.

Since 2015, he has been ranked in Chambers & Partners as distinguished practitioner of Projects & Energy practice area.

  • Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial and Corporate Law, Queen Mary, University of London, 2014. His dissertation about liability within corporate groups was awarded with Distinction.

  • He is coordinator member (of Uruguay) of the Ibero-American Institute for Law and Finance (IILF).
  • He was Lecturer of Company Law and Corporate Finance Law, Postgraduate School, Universidad ORT Uruguay (2017-2018).
  • Speaker in academic forums of Commercial Law and Energy Law.
